Besides commercial stands offering "cruelty-free" products, other informative stands managed directly by the VegFestival organisers will be present.

Photographic exhibition and information materials

This stand will host a photographic exhibition on intensive animal farming and slaughterhouses, complemented by an information desk offering information materials available for free (in paper format and CD-ROM). A festival's volunteer will always be available to give clarifications and answer questions.

Promotion campaigns

A display of "advertising" posters promoting vegan lifestyle's choices, developed in recent years by several groups or associations.

"Vegan cooking" exhibition

A poster exhibition that shows the basic elements of vegan cooking.

Video

This stand will be set up for the projection of the short film "Flashes of flesh - sounds and visions of human specism" by Claudia Candido and Alex Arrigoni, presented at Cinemabiente 2003 and currently projected in several Italian cinemas: a tough, moving and dramatically true description of what animal farming and slaughterhouses are like today - thus explaining the reason why an increasingly high number of people decides not to live on the products of so much suffering.

"Vegetarians in history" exhibition

A set of posters report a brief biography enriched by images of only some of the many historical and show business "famous vegetarians".

Benefit market and prize lottery entries

A nice market offering goods and clothing, both new and second-hand, where visitors, with their small purchases, can contribute to the festival's organisational expenses.

Lottery's coupons will be distributed here until Sunday night, when the prize-winning tickets will be picked.

Exhibition of Dylan Dog's boards

Dylan dog, just as his author, is vegetarian and animal-lover. By courtesy of the publisher Bonelli, this stand will display the most significant cartoon boards describing the "cruelty-free" lifestyle of this very popular character.

Children's stand

With games, readings, various entertainments, it is open throughout the festival. Every day at 5pm children are welcomed to prepare and taste the VegSnack.

"Health is vegan" stand

A set of posters describe health-related issues of the vegan lifestyle, while at the information stand many in-depth materials and books will be available. A doctor and/or nutritionist from the Societ� Scientifica di Nutrizione Vegetariana will answer the public's questions.

Books and gadgets

Many books on vegetarian and vegan's lifestyles T-shirts, bags, cooking aprons with theme-related slogans and pictures, as well as... vegan condoms, definitely useful "gadget" will be available at this stand.

Exhibition on "environmental and social impact"

Rich of images, diagrams, tables, figures and explanatory texts, this poster exhibition displays the waste-related problems of animal food production, which affect - with a devastating impact - the environment as well as the developing countries populations.
